My interest in life is to learn about life and the living beings who inhabit it; past and present ones. I know I'll get to know myself better in the way. I do think I need the other to be myself.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have been sharing apartment for 3 years in Barcelona, receiving my roommate's friends with good pleasure, and receiving friends' friends too.
I never couchsurfed with complete strangers, but feel curious to meet new people that way!

Interests

Cinema, art exhibitions, meeting new people, discovering new bars, discussing about politics, contemporary dance and theatre, world music... feeling alive with good emotions

Music, Movies, and Books

I am very fond of cinema. My favorite recent movie directors are: Gus van Sant, Larry Clark, Park Chan-wook, Wong Kar-wai, Jia Zhang-ke, Arnaud Desplechin (especially "Comment je me suis disputé"). And a lot of others from all over the world.
My present books are Michel Foucault, "Histoire de la sexualité", Sade, Bataille, Georges Didi-Huberman, Dante's Purgatory.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Climbing the Huayna Picchu at dawn after getting at Macchu Picchu, staying there alone talking to the 6000 m high Andes all around.
Witnessing the magnificent Pyramids, and their closeness to El Cairo's chaotic mess.
Sensing the space inside the Pantheon in Rome, and the Capella delli Pazzi in Florence.

I love to share my enjoyment of art and all its philosophic, historic, aesthetic, living aspects. I am always learning from other people's opinions, as long as they are open-minded and willing to debate on them.
