After spending most of my life in the USA, I had the opportunity to work in Qatar on a short term assignment. It has opened up the world to me.

I've met amazing and wonderful people from all corners of the world. I've traveled to exciting locations - but still so much more to see and do!

My job has brought me here, and now i can't wait to continue to explore.

I'm on Couchsurfing because of the fantastic friends I've met here in Qatar in the CS group. We don't have many visitors to our sand box, but we make up for it with close friendships and many activities and get-togethers. Many of my friends have both hosted and stayed with hosts through Couchsurfing all over the world and highly recommend it.

My life is truly and amazing adventure, filled with new places to see, things to do - the full range, from World Heritage sites in Nepal (thankfully before the earthquakes) to desert dune bashing in Qatar to helicopter flight over Kauai.

The best part of my travels has been the people and connecting with others who live in the area is the very best way to know a place. So Couchsurfing is the perfect fit!

Really enjoying dance music these days - maybe because i always feel like dancing!

I appreciate fantastic musicianship, in almost any genre. Depends on the setting, but everything from rock to classic 70s (Queen/Pink Floyd) to R&B, and Arabic.

Movies - I haven't seen too many recently but i enjoy action movies, a good drama, maybe a romantic comedy (chick flick) every now and then.

I'm just starting to build the list of amazing, but the Kenya Safari in Maasai Mara was truly spectacular. The Great Migration was all around us, and the Maasai warriors shared their stories with us each evening at our camp site.
