As a gift to myself for raising my daughter, I bought myself a nice camera & began capturing all the beauty around me. As often as possible, I head out on photo adventures; exploring the landscape of the day. Taking photos relaxes me, it really feels good to focus on beautiful sights and capture them on my camera.

Over the past couple years I’ve been slowly downsizing the “stuff” in my life. I've sold some of my belongings and gave most of it away. The less I have, the more at peace I feel. I quit my job, no more 9-5 life working inside a building. I intend to travel in Europe for a year or more.

In June I completed a 25 day yoga teacher training in Croatia. Now I'm off to explore Europe. I have a tentative itinerary, but I'm opened to whatever adventure comes my way.

While I'm on my road trips through Europe, I'd like to couch surf along the way. I want to visit new places, meet new people, learn about other cultures & photograph the beauty I see. Couch surfing seems like a great way to meet people, be immersed in the local culture, see the sights from their perspective & visit more places around the world.

Raised my daughter on my own. Despite my gypsy spirit moving her around a lot, she is an amazing, friendly, thoughtful, focused & determined young woman. We learn a lot from each other and some how, now that she's off at college, our relationship is stronger & closer than we've been in years.
