Sobre mí
CURRENT MISSION
Live, laugh, love! And eat :)
ABOUT ME
Hi all, I was born in Taiwan and moved to Canada in grade 2. Recently I just graduated from the University of Toronto with majors in Neuroscience and Psychology. I grew up in Vancouver, in a small town by the beach. It had really good ice cream. Currently I'm working towards applying for medical school and dental school, but before that I'd really like to take a breather and travel a bit and hopefully someone can help me out along the way!
PHILOSOPHY
To enjoy life to the fullest, to live with no regrets, to cherish those around me.
Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
No experience so far, but hopefully I'll gain more along the way. Unfortunately living conditions wise not able to host right now, but hopefully can surf soon!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Unfortunately I've never couch-surfed in my life, it always seemed like a really neat idea but I've never had the chance to try it. Hopefully this new experience will shed some light as to how it works as well as letting me meet some awesome new people!
Intereses
I'm a sports gal, ranging from basketball to volleyball to flag football I've played it all. I also enjoy watching sports. In my downtime I like to read, although I haven't read much other than a textbook in a while unfortunately.

Música, películas y libros
I really want to watch Lucy right now, but I enjoy most of the Marvel films. Favorite book I've read so far in my life was "My Sister's Keeper", the book, not the movie!
Algo increíble que he hecho
The view of the Eiffel Tower was probably the most stunning thing I've seen so far in my life. You'd think it's overrated. It's not.
Enseña, aprende, comparte
As of this point in my life not having much life experience, I'd really like to hear what people actually do in the real world outside of school and education. If someone could teach me how to surf that'd be awesome, but like I said I find other people's stories fascinating and unique and that's all I'm really looking forward to.
As for what I can bring to the table:
- I can tell you about different aspects of neuroscience, ranging from your brain anatomically to what it does for you behaviorally
- The cool theories of psychology
- What's actually going on in a sports game so that you're not confused as to why people are cheering
- Why Vancouver is awesome, and why Toronto is pretty great as well
