I live in Portland, Oregon, since August 2020. I grew up in the suburbs of the DC area then studied at Towson University. I moved to the British Virgin Islands for a work opportunity, living on the island of Virgin Gorda. I moved back to Baltimore for a couple years. I LOVED Baltimore! I worked as a pastry chef, traveling backstage caterer at music festivals, and real estate photographer.

In 2019 I traveled to the Mediterranean, visiting Spain, Tunisia, and Cyprus. I loved experiencing North African Arabic culture for the first time. Tunisia was amazing! And Cyprus was incredibly beautiful.

I live in Portland, Oregon, land of mountains and waterfalls! I work remotely from wherever home is at the time, or anywhere I with strong wi-fi.

Music, Movies, and Books

Have read Unbroken by Laura Hillenbrand and The Devil in The White City by Erik Larsen recently. Still working on Theroux's The Patagonian Express.
Music... I am open to a lot of music, folk music, dance music, bachata... I love music! It’s a great creative release. I most enjoy whatever will make me dance. Daft Punk, Logistics, S.P.Y., Wilkinson, Major Lazer/Diplo; too many to list. I like funky jams as well, a la Lotus, Lettuce, STS9.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Jumped off 50' high cliffs in Curacao into the deep blue ocean, 2008.
Learned to surf in the pacific of Costa Rica and went zip-lining for miles, 2009.
Sailed as a guest on Seahawk, a 200 ft super yacht in the Loro Piana Superyacht Regatta and then again the following year as crew for the 82 ft yacht Wild Horses, 2015 and 2016.
Swam 2.2 miles of churning open water in the Great Chesapeake Bay Swim Annapolis, June 2019, and a 3 mile river swim in July 2019.

Teach, Learn, Share

I love to bake, everything from pumpkin chocolate chip muffins and asiago bread to fancy layered birthday cakes and blueberry pie – I would be so happy to bake in your kitchen! I like cooking as well. I can share my knowledge and my food.

I can teach Spanish - I learned as a kid and am fluent. I would love a conversation partner to brush up on my vocabulary!
