Overview
About Me
I'm currently an international history student at the University of Cambridge. Part of the reason I wanted to study in the UK is to experience something I'd never tried before (living in a foreign country), and that's a mantra I try to apply to all aspects of my life. I'm a fairly competitive runner, and outside of that love cycling and cooking.
I have a big side passion for board games, and have tried my hand at a bit of game design as well (to little avail as of yet).
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
As above, I'm a student, and budgeting is a perpetual issue. I love travel, but have more trouble finding the money to do it. At some point I'd like to return the favour and host as well, this seems like an excellent way to meet new people!
Interests
I love running, cycling and cooking with a passion. Outside of that, I've become interested in caving recently, and enjoy backpacking and hill-walking. I am very interested in the environment as well, and that has contributed in a large part to my diet (mostly vegan, with dairy on occasion).
I played the cello for 9 years, unfortunately I didn't have the time to keep it up but it's inspired a passion for music I've had since.

Music, Movies, and Books
The prophet, by Kahlil Gibran, is perhaps my favourite book. I love The Tallest Man on Earth, Flying Lotus, Toro Y Moi, and Yo La Tengo, and I'm up for any movie.
