About Me

I would describe myself as a passionate and eclectic person. I think the most important thing in life is to learn, to experience. That is the ultimate reason to be in this world, to enjoy and seize every moment we are here. And I think the best way to know the world is to know other people because everyone has another perspective of the world. One that you don't. That is why I love having a meaningful chat with someone, to discuss, to learn from each other. I'm currently studying architecture at the University of Manchester. However, I like learning about everything: philosophy, literature, politics, science, history, music, art and everything at all. And of course, I love traveling because by doing so, you can open your mind, you can see other worlds, or at least see the world differently. Finally, I may be living in the UK now, but I'm very proud to be Ecuadorian, and I love sharing a bit of that with the people I meet. Sharing a bit of what our culture and traditions are, and describing what an amazing country it is.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

In my opinion, traveling is not about going to a city, go to the famous bits of the place and take a selfie. If you want to do that, you don't have to go any further than the internet. Traveling is getting to know the culture, the traditions, food, and especially the people. You cannot know a place if you do not meet local people because they are the ones who make the city be unique to rest of the world. Get to know how people in different places think, to know what they like, what they do, what are the difference between them and everyone else in the world. That is how you really get to know a place, that is how you truly travel.

I started traveling by myself and it is a sublime experience which I want to repeat. I think that it's the best way to get to know the place where you are traveling and make new friends.

Teach, Learn, Share

Architecture, Design, Drawing, Spanish. I may not be in the position of teaching anyone much at all, but I think I can share a bit of my knowledge with people by chatting. I really enjoy having a nice talk with someone, and very often that results in a bit of learning from each other.
