Don't own a television and don't read the newspapers, Don't listen to the news or adverts on the radio. I much prefer listening to good vibe music, reading, or having one to one intelligent conversations about 'real/quality' life stuff; such as metaphysics, personal growth, relationships, health, science, adventure, passions, travels, beliefs, experiences and ideas. I like the outdoors, real fires, camping, hiking, water, storms, nature and Vipassana Meditation. Pretty much veggie these days, avoiding all animal based foods.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

It's something new for me to try, and looks like a great way to meet new and interesting people. Although I admit, as a bit of a 70/30 introvert/extrovert, it's slightly unnerving!

Music, Movies, and Books

Music can be anything which resonates with me - favourites are acoustic guitar singer/songwriter sessions, a bit of classical, some old school dance, Moby and Madonna - the 80's were an era for me. But pretty much any 'proper' music.. lol..

Fav movies include About Time, Oblivion, Edge of Tomorrow, Love Actually, Begin Again, pretty much all Tom Cruise movies, sci-fi, action, comedy romance. Also good documentaries like 'Forks over Knives' etc.

Fav books tend to be factual and educational; How Not to Die, 10% Human, The Dhammapadda, One Spirits Medicine, Life on the Edge.

Helped create life! (had kids lol..) But so many amazing things after living a life of constant adventure and learning.

Teach, Learn, Share

I absolutely love learning and growing. Have done so many courses and learned so many new things over the years, from metaphysics, acupuncture, reiki, shamanism and EFT, to highly technical jobs, professional coaching, teaching, renovating properties, online marketing, psychology.. I do enjoy conversations where we share how amazing life is..

I much prefer the closer intimate conversations - where there is a connection, to the noisy room full of people or a party. I love asking questions to find out more about a person, and love to be asked questions.
