I am a solo male Canadian backpacker. I have been in Oz about 7 months, starting in the gold coast and going down south. Most recently I was doing farm work in Mildura, it was great, but HOT! A little bit too hot for my canadian blood anyway so after two months i've decided to reverse migrate south to Tasmania.

I have a job here working for a staffing agency, doing some kitchen work and waitering. I also have my own transportation, a motorcycle named hiccup, I bought in the Queensland that I've been using to get around.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've been in Australia for 7 months now and I have loved it, but one thing I am disappointed in is the number of australians I've met. I think couch surfing is a better way to meet australians and the australian lifestyle, not just the backpacker lifestyle.
