I enjoy travelling on a budget and discovering new places around the United Kingdom and Europe. I really like exploring cities by bike, if I am able to bring one of mine or hire one locally.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Heard about couchsurfing from a friend, who has used it many times. Seems like such a good idea as an affordable way of visiting different places and meeting people from around the world. I'm in a great location for occasional hosting, right in the centre of Manchester.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like all kinds of music, mostly just stuff that I hear whilst out and about. I mainly listen to spoken word radio stations, which is great for keeping up with what's happening in the world as I don't tend to read newspapers. Nor do I watch a lot of tv, unless you count occasional binge watching of netflix series. Breaking Bad is my all time favourite and more recently Black Mirror and Sens8 both got me hooked.

I am always up for catching the latest showings on the big screen. Older films like The Color Purple and Shawshank Redemption still feature in my list of epics I must get round to watching again.
