ABOUT ME

Most anyone who knows me would say that I am creative in my endeavours, persistent in my efforts and try to administer both with high moral standing.

I would hope they think I do well on all three accounts.

They would probably also tell you that I miss spell just about every 3rd word.

Born in the US I have spent the past 20+ years in Denmark. I am often in China and don't get to see my family in America enough.

PHILOSOPHY

It is only in the current moment that I can work to build a future and better understand the past. Hopefully without neglecting the first or forgetting the second.

I have hosted but I have not thrown myself to the winds of the CS community and found myself at anothers doorstep yet... This too will come.

Interests

I am a complicated mix of my interests, which range from Industrial design to appropriate technologies (renewable energy technologies bio mimicing collective transportation solutions, architecture.... etc.)probably with a stop along the way at a concert or two, and an art musseum if I dare.
I love to bicycle through the city streets winter or summer and I greatly enjoy meeting new people. I also appreciate quality time on a one to one basis as well as alone.

I am a boat-builder and that means I enjoy working with my hands, I have also always enjoyed design and conceiving the things that I build. I enjoy finding the essence of that which I am working on be it food or furniture I am maybe a bit of a perfectionist but hopefully not in a suffocating sort of a way.

Hmmm Books this is a bit harder as I often read biographical books. Charlie Chaplins self bio is great, so is Patti Smiths "We were Just kids", I have always loved Milan Kundera, I also enjoy reading Hemmingway and Steinbeck... not to mention Gorge Orwell.......
