One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Once I climbed a mountain in Costa Rica called Cerro Lago. It was late in the day when I got there, most people were on the way down. At the top of the mountain is a lake in a dormant volcano crater.

By the time I reached the top, everyone else had gone. As I was swimming, a cloud rolled over the mountain.

So I swam alone, in a cloud, in a lake, in a mountain.
