About Me

New to the couch surfing scene, hoping to meet some people to get the ball rolling.

I'm a freediver, scuba-diver, rock climber, (ex-)competitive swimmer, musician and desperately trying to become an artist as well. I like to challenge myself and get involved in things that allow me to push myself to my limits. I was a successful (relatively speaking) swimmer before college, but when I moved to Florida to a school without a team, I took up freediving as a hobby since it requires a similar skill set. I've since fallen in love with the sport and the underwater caves around my new home.

I'm a Marine-Geology major with a minor in Environmental Studies at Eckerd College, and I try my best to better the world whenever I can.
I pick up on things quickly and try to be constantly learning a new instrument, so if anyone plays an instrument and wants to jam out, please let me know!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love the thrill of meeting new people, and I'd like to believe that we live in a friendlier world than meets the eye and sometimes you just have to get to know people first.

Music, Movies, and Books

I listen to absolutely everything from Mozart and Liszt to punk rock.
Recently, I've been in love with the music by Jacob Collier.

Favorite book has to be "Seven Brief Lessons on Physics" by Marco Rovelli. An easy read for a difficult subject.

Favorite movie is probably Ocean's 11, but it's such a tough call.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In the summer of '17 I was deep in the Mexican rainforest for research with a company called "Operation Walacea" and my survey team had an afternoon off, so we visited some of the local ruins. At the top of the tallest one, I cut my leg on a rock (nothing a couple band-aids couldn't fix) and so I can say that I accidentally sacrificed blood on top of a Mayan ruin.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'll teach you guitar or a number of other instruments. I love music and think everyone could benefit from learning an instrument.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Love to swap stories and skills and just those little pieces of advice you pick up in life.

Countries I’ve Visited
