Hey there ! I'm a french student currently on an exchange semester in Sydney. I've done the rest of my universities studies in Montreal Canada. I've moved to Australia because I wanted to see what it was like to live by the beach and be able to surf every day. My passion in life is music, I play guitar and sing every day and hopefully it will lead me somewhere, if not, well I really enjoy doing it :)
I'm interested in living a healthy lifestyle, cultivating myself in every way possible. I'd describe myself as a laid back positive person.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm planning a road trip from Sydney to Byron Bay and I figured that couch surfing would be a good way to park for free at my various stops and have a local guide at the same time. It's a solo trip as well so it's a great occasion to meet new people :)

Music, Movies, and Books

Slash is my favorite guitar player so everything he's done from Guns N' Roses to his solo records (highly recommend you give them a listen) is great. I'm into a lot of other bands from metal and prog rock to country and folk.

My favorite movie is Lost in Translation by Sofia Coppola with Scarlett Johansson and Bill Murray : great actors and such a great atmosphere throughout the movie. I never get tired of watching it. Into the Wild is also a strong contestant.

My favorite author is Ernest Hemingway, all of his books just smell of adventure. My two favorites are The Sun Also Rises and The Old Man and the Sea

I've visited Damas in Syria before the war broke out. On the same trip I also went to Petra in Jordan (just google it) :)

What I Can Share with Hosts

I'm arriving in a camper van so I won't have much to offer as far as material possessions go. However in my quality of being french I can advise you on which wine to buy and which cheese it should go with. I'm happy to talk, play music, meditate, do yoga (I'm really bad but I love it) :)
