To get to know Finland--my new home--and her people. Though my profile shows me as based in the US (I am from there), I arrived in Finland just before the border closed and now I am making my home here while my country falls apart. :-(

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Well, I have climbed to 17,400 ft. on a mountain in the Andes of Peru. And I volunteered for 6 weeks in Haiti, before the earthquake. One of the hardest things I've ever done, but also a great learning experience.

Teach, Learn, Share

I like to cook and share what I make. I can teach one really great song by The Cars on the guitar, "Just What I Needed". :-)

I'm sort of walking encyclopedia of valuable, interesting and somewhat esoteric knowledge.
