Overview
About Me
I'm 30 and finishing graduate studies at Hunter College in NYC. I play violin and sing. I've traveled several places around the word for a variety of reasons: music ensemble tours, serving as a missionary for my church, visiting family, and teaching English.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I started because I needed to make a cross country drive (AZ to NYC) more affordable, but I met so many fun people, I just might go couch surfing again.
Philosophy
I think that the vast majority of people are good folk if you give them a chance.

Music, Movies, and Books
Nickel Creek is my favorite band, and Dvorak is probably my favorite composer.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I think one of the cooler things I've done is travel with my university choir to Ghana and perform as a tenor and violin accompanist. My director even let me perform a fiddling song as part of our show so we could present that aspect of American culture.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I could make you some snickerdoodle cookies, teach you how to do juggling sticks or show you a cool Chemistry demo if we have the right supplies (red cabbage, or maybe some pure sodium acetate).
