After graduating from college I worked in corporate America for a short time and decided I hated it. So I quit my job. Our society cares very much about what people accomplish--the external things they do. I care much more about my internal life and who I am as a person. I value developing my character and becoming more like the person I want to be.

I currently work as a math tutor in the Kansas City area.

I love the blog Wait But Why by Tim Urban. Seriously, check it out. I recommend Tim's 4 part series on Elon Musk, Tesla, and SpaceX. Elon read and liked Tim's blog, so he invited Tim out to California for a tour of the Tesla and SpaceX facilities as well as a personal interview with Elon.

The best thing I have ever read, by far, is a Harry Potter fan fiction called Harry Potter and the Methods of Rationality.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One summer during college I worked at a summer camp in Colorado and took 5th and 6th grade kids on a backpacking trip up a 14,000 foot mountain.
