Hello! I'm Paul. I am a 26 years old French man living in Lyon, France. I studied political sciences and got to live and study abroad for closed to 4 years, and I am just wondering now why I haven't used Couchsurfing earlier! To talk a bit about myself, I grew up in a numerous family (I have 2 sisters and 3 brothers), so I'm used to be surrounded with people and really enjoy company. I love sports, I have done gymnastics for 20 years and I have been practicing muay thaï for 5 years now, I also like running and swimming (and every other sports really!). I love reading, languages and learning new things.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I enjoy travelling but I am more keen on long stays in a country, to really get a good idea of the people, the language and the culture of the country I am living in. So it's always been frustrating to me how sometimes it can be an impossible mission to meet locals, so I believe that Couchsurfing is the perfect tool to remediate that!! I love the idea to meet new people, practice the language and make deeper (and hopefully long-term !) connections with people.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I had my first amateur muay thaï fight back when I was living in Guatemala. It was a bit of a random situation to travel 5 hours through this country to... fight. But awesome experience!
