Overview
About Me
Hi! I’m a Peruvian lawyer and musician, born in Lima but now living in the beautiful city of Cusco. I moved here looking for a fresh start, closer to nature, and to reconnect with some dreams I had put on hold.
I’m 42, curious by nature, and always eager to explore new places. I spent three amazing years living in Australia—an experience that opened my eyes to different cultures, landscapes, and ways of living. Travel became a passion, and today I’m working towards building my own project related to tourism and hospitality.
I’m someone who enjoys calm over chaos, long walks with no particular destination, and the feeling of wonder that comes from seeing a beautiful landscape or an animal in its natural environment (big cats are especially fascinating to me). I guess I’m a mix of reflection and action: I like planning things well, but I also know when to go with the flow.
Music is a big part of my life—actually, it’s essential. I enjoy all kinds, from traditional to experimental, and I’m always up for a good conversation about rhythms, instruments, favourite songs or any other topic.
I consider myself easy-going, respectful, and mindful of the spaces I share. I believe in meaningful exchanges, and I enjoy meeting people who are authentic, kind, and open to share a bit of their world.
Looking forward to connecting with fellow travellers and kind souls out there!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I believe in real, meaningful connections—beyond borders, beyond language. I want to meet new people, exchange ideas, share cultures, go for walks or just have a good talk.
I enjoy living with and learning from people who see the world differently. Sometimes we’re just looking for a place to stay—but sometimes, we’re also looking for company, an inspiring story, or a shared laugh.
I want to keep practicing languages, discover places through a more human lens, and surround myself with curious, open-hearted people.

Music, Movies, and Books
I have a very broad taste in music—I enjoy everything from Latin jazz and Afro-Peruvian rhythms to Celtic, flamenco, Andean music, tango, and traditional folk. I’m always open to discovering new genders and artists, and I love when music connects me to different cultures and emotions.
When it comes to movies, I like stories with depth and intensity. Thrillers, mysteries, action, epics, and good documentaries are among my favorites. One film that left a mark on me is The Bone Collector—that mix of intrigue and human complexity really drew me in.
As for books, I prefer reading about life stories that reveal something true about the human experience or teach me something i didn´t know.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
One of the most amazing things I’ve done was living in Australia for three years—it was a complete shift in perspective and lifestyle. It opened my mind and heart in ways I didn’t expect.
Another unforgettable experience was doing the Inca Trail and hiking through the mountains of Cusco, especially the path to Salkantay. Walking through those majestic peaks, surrounded by silence, wind, and snow, was deeply humbling and healing. Nature has a powerful way of reminding us who we are.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you some rhythms on the Peruvian cajón or other percussion instruments, and share a bit about Afro-Peruvian and Andean music. I also enjoy sharing what I know about Peruvian culture, traditions, and even some basic legal or philosophical ideas if you're into deep chats!
As for learning, I’m always open to learning—languages, instruments, crafts, farming, cooking, different worldviews... I believe every person has something unique to teach. I’d love to improve my cooking skills and practice more English or other languages.
I love sharing music, thoughts, good walks, stories, and a peaceful vibe. Whether it’s a jam session, a hike, a board game, or a simple shared meal, I’m here for genuine, enriching exchanges.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I’m always open to a good conversation, a walk around the city or nature, or simply sharing music. I can show you some rhythms on the cajón, talk about Peruvian culture and traditions, or even cook something simple and local.
I enjoy listening, exchanging stories, and learning from others. I respect personal space and understand when it’s time to connect and when it’s time to give space. I bring calm energy, curiosity, and a genuine interest in the people I meet.
If you’re up for it, we can jam, explore, share a meal, or just enjoy a quiet moment. I believe in sharing from a place of respect and mutual inspiration.
