ABOUT ME
I'm not very good at filling these things out. I'm vegetarian, I'm an ex-Buddhist (feel free to ask me about that), I'm a scientist, I love music and travels. I'm not afraid to go places by myself but I love good company and trying new things.
PHILOSOPHY
I believe that people shouldn't be afraid to live a little bit on the edge. I'm not a big fan of routine though I work hard, I hate the idea of wasting my life not taking chances, even if only once in a while.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I have hosted and surfed on occasion and it's always turned out pretty great.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've lived in a few couch surfer households (including my place right now) and met a lot of people that way. I've so far had a pretty good time from couchsurfing, met and surfed with people in Chicago for Lollapalooza and the like.
Interests
Music, Gardening, Baking, Art, Exploring, Science, Football (soccer), Reading. The usual stuff I guess? I think a lot too.
Also wine.
Also curry.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music = I listen to too much crystal castles, broken social scene, boards of Canada, Pixies, Sonic Youth that sort of thing. I have a Sigur Ros tattoo on my arm though I've not really listened to their newer albums so I'm a pretty terrible fan.
Movies = Coen brothers, the fall, eternal sunshine, the shining, rear window, the room and loads more.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
The first time I went skiing at the top of the Alps and being able to see 3 countries from one spot. Another would be the first time I used to fluorescence microscope (nerdy I know).
Countries I’ve Visited
France, Italy, Spain, United Kingdom, United States
