I am a mystery to myself. One that I am continually exploring.

My life has been an interesting one and as true adventures go it has not always easy.

I have failed at things many take for granted and have succeeded in things many never dare to attempt.
My intention is to live as fully, and compassionately as possible in a world dangerously out of balance.

I am a Wilderness Rites of Passage Guide, a member of The Wilderness Guides Council's Gathering, and Elders Councils; and I am exploring what it means to be an authentic elder.

I am a son and lover of the Goddess; deeply committed to my own unique path of spiritual growth and transformation.

I spent seven years as a member of a community of Toltec spiritual warriors. I have lived, worked and practiced yoga with an alternative community and lived for a time in Rajneeshpuram-Osho Rajneesh's controversial Tantric ashram/city.

I was once part of a anarchistic squatter community, where I lived, for a time, in a tree house 100 feet up in a redwood tree.

I taught developmentally disabled teens, worked as an organic farmer and lived and worked outdoors in the mountains as a tree planter.

I practice yoga, meditation Heartmath, Inner Fire energetic healing, ritual and ceremony; and am currently exploring neuroplasticity, and transformation through Dr Joe Dispenza's meditations.

I have hopped freight trains across the western US, hitchhiked through a revolution in Central America and across the US, from the Atlantic to the Pacific, and from Alaska to Central America.

I have Masters Degrees in East West Psychology and Culture and Creation Spirituality.

I had a small part in saving two forests, was arrested and jailed for participating in direct actions in defense of the ancient redwoods of northern California and the Hawaiian rain forest.

I am plan on improving Spanish, and I am tentatively planning on spending my coming winter(s) in Mexico, which I have visited many times. I would love an adventurous traveling companion.

I love being outdoors, experiencing dawn, dusk, and midnight, walking, bicycling, road trips, Some of my favorite past times are listening to the sounds of the wind in the trees, the songs of the birds at dawn, the sound of ocean waves, soaking in hot springs, while gazing at the night sky, and the feeling of peace I feel when visiting cemeteries.

I am fascinated by penguins and elephants. I was blessed to see both in the wild when I visited South Africa a couple of years ago.

My Bucket List: Learn Chi Gong, write book, resume my yoga practice, become a confident swimmer, visit a new foreign country every year, and ???

I’m pretty good at: Being present, cooking, giving massages, questioning my own beliefs, and cleaning up my own messes.
