I am a gardener mostly, other times i work with concrete and walls.
Sometimes forage for shellfish. You can come with me to the sea -its fun-but hard work.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
be a civil host-maybe organise a trip somewhere on the island-depending on time-if its a good idea-please dont send long range requests -last minute is more suitable due to my way of working -at least i know what im doing then- at short notice. CS members are welcome-if your profile is empty-im not likely to host you -i dont host all the time. CS is partly about sharing-that is essential if you dont want your host to feel used-like a hostel. I meet the world and i love it-i try to make sure surfers max their time when on Skye. Sometimes i join in the walking n touring..

a mother and baby Minke whale once followed the boat i was working on for 2 weeks-was awesome-i would hear them 1st -as they breathed-then look for a minute-at the mother and the unscarred,shiny and new- two ton, grey baby swimming alongside-staring at me with their big mammal eyes-and then they would dive in tandem-and leave a mysterious pool of darkness as they headed to safety into a world i hadnt the imagination to fathom or see-i felt i would do anything to help them????????-
In 2017 i was an extra in a Netflix movie-wonderful experience.
