About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Leave this place better than I found it

ABOUT ME

I grew up on the coast in Virginia and moved to the mountains for college. I love both of them and all the people I've met there. I've traveled around Europe and Northern Africa and lived in Malta for a year. I want to go back to Northern Europe as soon as I can. Right now I'm finishing off a degree in Environmental Sustainability at James Madison University.

PHILOSOPHY

To be as cliche as possible, I try to live my life to experience as much as possible and make a difference while I do it ;) (sometimes these two goals feel like they conflict)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I just started to use this site myself but my roommate used it for the past year and I have met a lot of couch surfers. Everyone I've met through this site has been a good person and I've made a few connections that will last a long time. It's really amazing what this site offers.

Interests

I have a pretty broad range of interest and am willing to try almost anything. I love to do anything that has to do with exploring and experiencing the outdoors. Anything with friends if the time is right. Having a beer with a friend/acquaintance.

Music, Movies, and Books

A lot of reggae and hard rock with about 5 country songs a year will do me right. Best movies I like seem to be dramas, epic movies and rom coms.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

More crazy than amazing, but I gave my passport to a guy I never met when I was between Mauritania and Senegal hoping he'd help me get through the language barrier at the boarder...Then he disappeared with my passport. After thinking I was screwed for about 2 hours he showed back up with all the papers I needed so it worked out.. Have a little faith in people:)

Countries I’ve Visited

Austria, Bahamas, Czech Republic, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Mauritania, Morocco, Senegal, Slovakia, Spain, United States

Countries I’ve Lived In
