I'm a 23-year-old Finn who loves to travel! I graduated from university last year and since then I've been travelling and working in the field. Now I have decided to kick back and enjoy a holiday interrailing through Europe before getting back in business with work. I'm an open-minded traveller and my friends describe me as brave, out-going and easy to be around with- kinda girl. I'm also curious and always eager to hear about different cultures and ways to live. Let's meet up and get to know each other! :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm interested in getting to know the locals so that the city I'm at gets more personal also for me! :) I'm new to couchsurfing and I'm super curious about it - when I was travelling in Italy and living with different people and families I found out that it's a lovely, exciting way to experience the culture and find the similarities in all of us around the world. I'm seeking more experiences like that!

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm all for romantic comedies or action comedies - gotta have that sense of humour! Horror stories and thrillers are a definite no for me or else I'm gonna lose my beauty sleep. Favourite music includes pop music and some of my favourites are Taylor Swift and Demi Lovato. As a kid I used to read a lot but since university I've only been reading academic books. I'm easing back into reading with some lifestyle books, but maybe the most favourite one is a book of recipes to cook!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Released my apartment, packed my belongings and stuffed them in a warehouse, bought a plane ticket and explored Italy through volunteer working for 2 months!

What I Can Share with Hosts

Finnish culture and food, our nature and different seasons, typical habits and a way of living. I also carry typical finnish candy, salmiakki, with me everywhere I go - if you are brave enough to taste it, you can have it! I'm an easy-going guest, always looking for the bright side and searching for positives instead of negatives. I smile a lot, let's take a selfie? :D
