My name is Paula, i'm 20 years old. I'm a brazilian girl living in Portugal. I study Social Sciences with focus on Sociology. I'm taking part in a exchange program here in Porto for one semester. I'm really into travelling and this exchange represents a oportunity in a lifetime to do what I like.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm interested in travelling and I hope I can get to know Europe during my 6 months of exchange. Through couchsurfing this would be possible, for me it's a better way to know other places and meet people. I could say that i'm a enthusiast of the concept of couchsurfing! :)

Interests

I'm interested in learning about other cultures and places, get to know people and other's points of view. Travelling was a way to discover myself and enjoy life a little bit more.

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm very eclectic when it comes to music, from jazz to indie rock, from samba to classical music. I like to taste everything.

I love movies, and again i'm very eclectic. But maybe i could choose a top 5 (super duper cliché): Little Miss Sunshine, Sen to Chihiro no kamikakushi, La vita è bella, Pulp Fiction and Le fabuleux destin d'Amélie Poulain (not in this order).

Books: currently reading Murakami's Kafka on the Shore, crazy about this autor. In short, literature makes life more bearable.
