I'm Paula, 22 years old, from Freiburg, Germany.

My passion is to learn foreign languages and to discover new places all over the world. As I am currently studying economics at University of Freiburg, I try to use my free time during the holidays (especially in summer) for traveling. Beside my studies, I am also working in my dad's company.

When I'm free, I love to spend time with my family, my boyfriend or friends. I am not that much into partying (but sometimes it's really nice), most of the times I prefer to have a couple of drinks with nice people in a bar or somewhere else.

I absolutely love dogs, so if you have one, I'd be happy to play, walk and/or cuddle with him :-)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'd love to discover new places and, in my opinion, the best way to do this is with the help of locals.

I hope to find nice people here who would host me and who are also willing to show me a bit of their city, their culture and their way of living. In return, I will of course help you with housekeeping while I'm there and if you're interested in German language or culture, I can help you with this, too!

As I am currently living in a dorm, it is a bit difficult for me to host someone myself here in Freiburg. But if you'd like to come to Freiburg once, I can of course show you the city, the Black Forest, etc.

Music, Movies, and Books

For music, I don't have a fixed genre. It always depends on the song itself. I like mainstream, rock / metal, hiphop / r'n'b, pop, 90's & 00', ABBA, ... It's completely mixed!

For movies & books, I generally prefer those who are more realistic, I don't really like fantasy stuff.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm really into foreign languages and cultures! I've learned English, French and Italian at school and as a part of my family moved to the Netherlands, I've begun to learn Dutch, too. I'd love to improve my language skills and to get to know the different cultures better.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can always help you with the German language and culture. If you'd like to come to Freiburg, I am of course willing to show you all the places there.
