Overview
About Me
Well, describing myself is not really one of my strengths, but I'll give it a try.
I guess I'm what one calls open-minded, quite curious and always eager to learn. I can be very chatty, but then again I'm also a rather quiet and thoughtful person. I like to be involved in discussions and at the same time I often just like to listen to the stories other people have to tell.
I'm super thankful for all the opportunities I have had in life so far, so I try to be in awe of them instead of taking everything for granted. I want to treat my surroundings with respect and I try to give my best to follow a sustainable lifestyle. Also, I guess I'm quite a political person. I'm definitely not a fan of dogmatism, but I'm neither a fan of sexism, racism, xenophobia, post-colonialism... and all the other unfair forms of discrimination.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
When coming to another place, I like to consider myself a traveler, not a tourist. I want to get to know places not simply by their sights, but by their culture, their flairs and their secrets. And I'm sooo thankful for all the people that I have taken me in already and have shared their secrets with me and let me look through their eyes on the place they call home. I really appreciate it!

Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you German, if you like to learn it. I also know a bit of Vegetarian or Vegan cooking and I know how to play the violin :)
Is there something that you would like to teach? I'll be happy to learn from you :) At the moment, for instance, I'm trying to learn Arabic.
