Hey there! I’m Paula (she/they), from Ecuador 🇪🇨. I’m currently studying abroad in France, but I started living abroad at 16 to finish high school at an international boarding school (any other UWCers here?). After that, I moved to Minnesota for college, and that’s where I’ve been for the past couple of years.

Living away from home from a young age has helped me appreciate everything travel has to offer. Right now, that means meeting interesting people and getting as far away from the American Midwest as I can!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I’ve found that couchsurfing is occasionally a great way to connect with like-minded people, experience their worldview, and get a glimpse into their lifestyle.

Interests

I love reading nonfiction or literary fiction, some good banter, life performances (particularly drag and musicals), partying, and catching up with friends and family. When I have a little more time, I enjoy traveling to visit loved ones, meeting new people, and trying new things.
