I am an easy-going person. I love to go hiking and biking. I like to dance, go to the gym, and meet new people. I love to travel and I also enjoy a lot new challenges, because I can learn from them and they allow me to get to know me better.

I lived in the United States for a year, where I studied and worked, and then decided to volunteer in Brazil. After a couple of months, I came back to Colombia and decided to go for a new academic experience in 2014 to Tilburg, The Netherlands, where I lived for five months. I recently traveled again to Europe, while I was studying my master, to participate in an academic competition. This time I took advantage of the opportunity and went to Latvia, Russia, Germany, and Czech Republic.

I am an economist, currently working as young researcher at Universidad del Rosario and I am moving to Washington D.C. in August 2018.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Two girls in Brasil let me stay with them for two months. I did not make it through couchsurfing, but it was almost the same. Actually one of them was the person who introduced me to this incredible website.

I sent a request a couple of years ago to a sweet dutch girl... She welcomed me in her house in 2014 and we ended up living together for five months, thanks to CS! She already visited Colombia in 2017 and I went back to The Netherlands to see her again in March.

While traveling I learned that nothing is impossible, which does not mean that it is going to be easy. You have to struggle, but the satisfaction you feel once you have done so, is totally worth it!
