ABOUT ME

We are a young couple and just moved into our city apartment in Karlsruhe ;)

Mirko about Paula: Paula is 25 and just finished her diploma thesis in neuro-psychology. Next to that she got me (back) in the world of books, reading and discussing everything from thoughts and ideas to the sense of life. She is a fierce verbal combatant and just the counterpart I enjoy arguing with. She also introduced me into ballroom dancing and is a patient partner.

Paula about Mirko: Mirko is a born optimist and extrovert who just enjoys life. He's 30 and works in IT-sales, where he makes good use of his ability to outtalk everyone in a discussion. He's one of the few guys I know who manages to be outgoing, profound and a real nerd at the same time.

PHILOSOPHY

Paula: The end only seems a threat while you have too much unlived life in you. I want to take everything life has to offer and don't lose the view on what is important and what is not.

Mirko: You are granted a short amount of time. In the end, it does not matter how much things and wealth you have accumulated but how you spent every moment of it and what you think if you look back. Life is great, enjoy.

Interests

Paula: I'm interested in reading and discussing philosophy, psychology / psychotherapy and different world views. I like good books (Yalom, Watzlawick, Simone de Beauvoir), ballroom dancing and rearranging the apartment.

Mirko: rhetoric and debating, technology and science, indoor soccer, watching esports (starcraft), surfing, dancing/clubbing, nerd nostalgia, shopping, clothing and shoes.

Together we enjoy travelling, pen&paper roleplaying (DnD), intense discussions, wellness (sauna), computer & video games, movies and cinema.
