Pauline. Berlin.

I'm 25. medical student. spontaneus. open-minded. smiling. impulsive. just the right amount of crazy. love to laugh. experience. get new and different impressions of all the corners of the world!

Travelling has always been a big part of my life. I
started exploring the world at 8 months when my mom took me to Hungary and somehow I got addicted and can't stop until I've seen it all ;)

I'm loving the diversity of Berlin, its colours, culture and the dirt and weird people. There's always something new to discover, even after 5 years.

My little son is 4 years old now and he's a quirky little student's child who loves elephants & noisy diggers, running all about and being around heaps of people to show off :)

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

i have hosted and surfed couches all over the world and made lots of friends over CS. It's wonderful to share adventures and stories this way.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I incidentially started as a couch host when Matthias could't fit his couch surfer Kyle in the bath tub of his mini apartment so he ended up on my couch! it turned out to be a delightful experience having foreign people here and sharing the fresh breeze and smiles on their faces.
I'm looking forward to having more great experiences with Couch Surfing, you can still surprise me :)

Music, Movies, and Books

My music sort of needs to fit as my general life soundtrack and it's just as diverse. Depending on my mood I listen to The Wombats, The National, Gotye, Kooks, Joy Division, Nicolas Jaar, Whitest Boy Alive, Lana del Rey, Vector Lovers, Paul Kalkbrenner, Missy Higgins, Beatles, Soko and many more...
There's always a different song on my mind, so it changes rapidly.
There are too many books I want to read, I enjoy entering a smartly created world or story (from Paulo Coelho and Dostojewskij to Francois Lelord and Ildikó von Kürthy) and like to write stories myself.
I love movies that have a certain implicit aspect with an interesting idea behind it.

Teach, Learn, Share

I love cooking together. I can share some awesome german, italian, greek and thai recipes with you!
As a hobby I'm building furniture and things out of palettes, drawers, tin cans...
And i know quite a lot about medicine which is always useful :)
