About Me

Hello!

I am currently on the road traveling around the US to see friends and family and meet their new babies, see their new homes, and just say hi. I am lucky to be able to work while traveling, so I've been on the road for a year and a half thus far. I aim to live in the present, to listen, and to act when it's time and to remain still and wait for the indication otherwise. I'm ever fascinated by the human experience and like to live in a state of wonder and curiosity about the world. I honestly try to do something new every day! If you ask me I'll tell you what today's new thing was -- it can be something as small as trying a new food or something as big as my first couch surfing experience!

I spend most of my time in India right now, but also travel to Costa Rica, Europe, SE Asia and other locales. I like to leave the place I stay better than I found it.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I believe in the inherent goodness of all human beings and try to navigate my life by following my gut and letting myself be guided. CS seems to be an interesting way to meet like-minded souls. I appreciate human experiences and the non-commercial / gift economy and want to support it. I signed up in 2014 but never surfed, so I'm looking for my first experience now as I travel across the country.

Interests

I write about Ayurveda, food and various ancient Indian sciences and work for different clients to help them tell their stories. I love babies, dogs, birdwatching, cooking delicious vegetarian food, doing yoga and reading novels from previous centuries. I do Shadow Yoga, which combines martial arts, South Indian dance and Hatha yoga, and happy to tell you more about it.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I was taught how to walk on stilts by Hungarian gypsies and almost ran away with their circus.
