About Me

I’m a well travelled independent woman. Always had a fascination for other cultures and meeting new people people to share stories with. I have a good sense of humour and I like funny people! Some of my greatest friends started as my couch surfers. I’m a relief teacher and drama teacher. I have a massive grass yard perfect for travel vehicles or even tents.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have been a couch surfing host for years and all the travelers I hosted have inspired me to want to travel. So I did and I love meeting new people and have an interest in many cultures. I love learning about different traditions, food, places and music.

I have only been a surfer in Amsterdam so far. I even stayed on a houseboat which was so great.

Interests

Food - I love trying food from different cultures. I love to learn new recipes and have friends round for dinner. I watch a lot of food reality TV programs. Music is everything to me (all kinds). I was in a local band in New Zealand as the lead singer.
