About Me

CURRENT MISSION

New experiences, to meet wonderful people and open my mind

ABOUT ME

I would describe myself as fun-loving, happy, open-minded, easy going yet active. Life aims are to see some of the world, enjoy life, never stop learning and do something meaningful.

I work as Senior Urban Planner for Aberdeenshire Council.

Visiting new places and experiencing new cultures, particularly warm and sunny parts of the world is brilliant fun. Spent an amazing couple of weeks volunteering in Marrakech last year.

A oui, je suis moitié Français !

PHILOSOPHY

Dream as if you'll live forever. Live as if you'll die today.
James Dean

Life is what happens while you are busy making other plans.
John Lennon

As usual, there is a great woman behind every idiot.
John Lennon

Music, Movies, and Books

I love 60s rock, mod, soul, motown. I believe people who don't like The Beatles are unnatural in some way.

When the TV is on it's often foreign language films, particularly European, thrillers, drama and good original comedy like 'The Big Lebowski'.

I find crime and thrillers good reading fodder though classics are on the agenda.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I painted a school in the Upper Atlas Mountains for a week.

Countries I’ve Visited

Andorra, Belgium, Canada, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Morocco, Netherlands, Portugal, Spain, Turkey, United Kingdom, United States

Countries I’ve Lived In
