Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Interesting people travel and meet other interesting people. I’ve met plenty of cool couchsurfers, but I haven’t done much hosting due to circumstances and the fact I am often away.

In The Distance - my favourite book for 2018. The Winter Soldier and The Silent Hours have been other recent memorable reads.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I cycled solo from Hiroshima to Tokyo without speaking a word of Japanese. Amazing place!

I’m always keen to learn something new. I originally studied photography and at some point along the way I got caught up in technology and ended up stuck behind a computer. Urghh! I love technology but don’t want to let it rule my life. There’s nothing better than being out of range and away from wifi for a while.
