ABOUT ME

Hello everyone!
I am originally from Germany but I live in a small town near Sélestat in France (between Strasbourg and Colmar) now. The landscape around here is just awesome! It is not far from the Vosges and the Kaiserstuhl and black forest in Germany. From my balcony I can almost see the Château du Haut Koenigsbourg (if it wasn't for a tree blocking the view). I spend most of my free time outside, going for long walks with my dog (a 14-year-old Jack-Russel-Terrier-Dachshund-Cross), jogging or riding my bike. Last year I started sailing, too.
I´d consider myself as an open-minded, quiet person. I am interested in different countries, cultures and languages.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I surfed a few couches on my trip to the USA more than 10 years ago and it was a great experience. My friend and I met a lot of nice people and we had a lot of fun.

Some of my favourite authors are Robin Cook, Michael Crichton, Kathy Reichs, Marry Higgins-Clark. I like reading thriller/suspense. And I love the Harry Potter books.
