ABOUT ME

I'm a Polish student and to be honest, before I've started my studies four years ago, I was pretty sure that I'm gonna become a lawyer, buy a house with small garden and two dogs. apparently, plans are not what I'm good at - I became interested in other cultures, started another studies and the vision of well-planned and organised life just disappeared. And oh, I have a cat.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

well, those are my first experiences in CS. right now I'm a little bit lost, but I'm trying to compensate it with my enthusiasm. i'd even wave my tail if i could. unfortunately, i can't. my only couchsurfing experience is connected with a short stay in Rome two years ago. however, it was so great and currently i have an urgent need to try it again ; )

Intereses

discovering and re-discovering Kraków - again and again. and studying - however, my biggest dream is to fry burgers somewhere in Texas. or just drive Route 66, listening to Tom Waits. yup, that would be awesome.

Dire Straits, Balkan Beat Box, Gogol Bordello, Sting, The Police, Shai Tsabari, Lola Marsh... but to be honest, the list is very long and even more diversified.

movies - currently i've switched a little bit and i prefer to watch TV series (FRIENDS (!),True Detective, Orange Is The New Black, Mad Men, Fargo). But I'm also a big fan of Meryl Streep. And Star Wars.

books - it's even harder to choose which one is my favourite. i love it so much that if there's nothing left to do, i'd even read a manual of washing machine.

actually i do read manuals. however, when there is a problem, i usually forget about it and just push all the buttons, hoping it might help.

my biggest passion is voluntary service - especially in cultural events. before i've started, i had no idea that it will affect my life so much. working with other people is probably the most inspiring thing - especially when you can see that it your work is appreciated and has a real impact on reality.
