ABOUT ME

Hi everybody and welcome to my profile :)!
My name is Paula, I have studied Political Studies and Spanish Philology, now I study and work in Granada. Originally I´m from Poland, so I could exchange with you multicultural experiences :)
I love meeting new people, getting to know them, discovering new places, tastes, different cultures and points of view. And finally, what I love the most after any couchsurfer trip is to realize that despite of some obvious differences as nationality, we are all the same :)

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I love travelling by CS, as well as hosting.
I share the idea of CS not being a hostel but a way of getting to know different people, spending time with them and having fun!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

It has always been a great experience!
I traveled to Italy and Spain so far and hosted people from different countries, including Taiwan, Czech Republic, Germany and Chile.

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies - this is the most difficult one. I have volunteered in some International Movies Festivals and I am a true fan of good films as for example these directed by Almodovar, Bergman, Fellini, Pasolini, Jarmusch, Lynch and many more :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I worked as a volunteer in two Movies Festivals and it was an amazing experience where I could get to know many interesting artists and directors. In one of these festivals I met a volunteer who was searching for some hostel and I offered him my place to stay during the whole festival, and know we are best friends :)
As I like architecture, I could go to some small city, stand in front of some interesting building and say “wow, that is amazing”, so the meaning of what´s amazing for me is hard to qualify, I also enjoy small things in life :)
Oh, and I also prepared an Indian typical meal taught to me by a Vietnamese girl in Salamanca, Spain :) Multicultural mix.

Teach, Learn, Share

I could teach you Spanish and Polish, share with you some great recipies I got to know when traveling, teach you how to juggle with 3 balls (currently trying to do it with 4) and of course show you aroud and let you see all that great places in Granada hard to discover by your own :)
