ABOUT ME

I'm interested in culture in general (films, music, books, art, social behaviours, traditions, etc.) and a bit crazy about foreign languages, therefore, I study English and French literature and linguistics. Although I'm somewhat afraid of mature and long-term planning of my future, I'd like to be a translator one day.

So many favourites that it's hard to choose one! Plus I tend to forget them all the time and find myself aware of the end of a movie in the middle of it, cuz it suddenly occurs to me that I've actually already seen it ;) In general, though, I love the films made by Aronofsky (esp. The Fountain and its brilliant soundtrack!), Dolan, Smarzowski, and many others. I like the type of films which remain in your memory and make you think about stuff, eg. American History X, The Shawshank Redemption, etc.
When it comes to books, my favourites are by Coetzee, Maupassant, Christie, Murakami, Hugo, Huysmans, Toni Morrison, Atwood, Remarque, and many others, whom I cant't recall right now :)
Music? It's a tough one. I listen to almost everything and my favourites change quite often, sometimes depending on the mood. Nevertheless, Noir Desir, Rolling Stones, Tool, Depeche Mode, Eels, Massive Attack and Sigur Ros never get deleted from my tracklist.
