Hi! My name is Pauline and I'm from beautiful Hamburg in Germany. I got to experience how nice it is knowing people from all over the world and how it changes your view and perspective on so many things while working in the United States for 12 months. At the moment I’m going to University in Auckland, NZ for an exchange semester. Although New Zealand itself is absolutely beautiful, it is the people I met who made me feel so comfortable here.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Because it's a great way to share your culture, to meet new people and to see the world without spending the world on hotels or hostels. I like the idea of being a guest at somebody's house or apartment who's actually living in a city or a place that you want to visit. It's so much more interesting and fun to experience the "real life" that’s going on in a place ;)
