Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am looking forward to meeting people from all over the world and I am very fascinated by the invention of Couchsurfing. I want to get to know other cultures, get in touch with other religions and experience alternative ways of life.

Interests

I love cooking and especially baking. I am very interested in conversations about topics that lie beyond the average talking. I am also eager to learn things, although I am not really sure about what I'm most interested in. Watching good movies is another thing I like and I'm not the one who's going out all night, I rather sit on the balcony having wine and a cigarette while having interesting conversations.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love Jake Bugg, the former Mumford & Sons, Jonas Alaska but also the Beatles, Johnny Cash, Elvis Presley and classical music. Doctor Schiwago is one of my favourite movies. I really enjoy reading all kinds of novels. One of my favourite is Salinger's 'The Catcher in the Rye' as well as the novels by Ian McEwan and Jack Kerouac.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I did midwifery for a few months and unfortunately quit. This was one of the most impressive experiences I've had.
