I’m Pauline, I’m 20 years old. I live in France, in a city near Paris. I’m actually studying Civil engineering in a school in Paris.
I’ve always loved travelling. In fact, I had the opportunity to discover a lot of other countries thanks to my parents. I’ve been to the United States, Spain, North Africa (Tunisia, Morocco, Egypt), Norway, Hong-Kong, Macao… And usually every summer I go to Portugal because I have family there. But this summer I decided to go on a whole new aventure ! I want to discover a new country on my own so that I can improve my english and also discover new cultures and people.
I’m a very open-minded and positive person, always smiling and laughing but I also know when to be serious. I can adapt to any situation pretty easily.
During my free time, I enjoy playing the guitar and the ukulele. I’ve take lessons with a teacher for one year and then learned the ukulele on my own. Music is something really important to me. I think it helps meeting new people. For example, I really like going to concerts, it’s a place where I can meet some new people from different walks of life but with the same taste of music as me.
I’ve always liked to play sports. I used to play tennis and I’m actually in a handball team. It teaches me teamwork, which is for me something really important.
Also something really important about me : I love children ! I really enjoy their company, I think they also have a lot to teach us. Since I'm from a huge family, I've always been used to being around children sometimes even from different nationalities (French and Portuguese mostly). It's always a pleasure for me to take care of my cousin's children.

What I could offer ?

- I would love to teach some french to whoever wants to learn and even some ukulele !

From this experience, I expect to have an exchange of different cultures, to meet new people, to share experiences and make some myself, to improve and practice my english.
