Overview
About Me
I am a gung-ho musician and meditator. Small talk bores me. I like conversations that scare me, challenge me, or fascinate me. I try to be ruthlessly honest, never fake-laugh, and not act differently than I feel. I am willing to share about myself, even very personal things, but you'll have to ask me about it so I know you're interested. My dream is to be a completely donation-based meditation teacher and to rid my life of little white lies.
I can also be a complete goofball in some circumstances.
I want to know you! I want you to teach me how to be a better person. I want to find that unique way that you and I can connect.
In the end, I like going on adventures rather than talking about them so let's have an adventure together!
Randall Munroe:
"Take wrong turns. Talk to strangers. Open unmarked doors. And if you see a group of people in a field, go find out what they are doing. Do things without always knowing how they'll turn out. You're curious and smart and bored, and all you see is the choice between working hard and slacking off. There are so many adventures that you miss because you're waiting to think of a plan. To find them, look for tiny interesting choices. And remember that you are always making up the future as you go."

Any music that is infused with the beauty of the human soul I love. I listen to a lot of jazz, classical, rock, and world music. The Bad Plus, Beck, The Dandy Warhols, Led Zeppelin, Alice Coltrane, and many more.
Books:
Mindfulness In Plain English changed my life, so did Mastering The Core Teachings of the Buddha (both meditation books). I love Zhuangzi and Laozi.

Napoleon Dynamite, Kubrick, Cohen Brothers, art films.
