About Me

I'm a 31 year old Bank Marketing Officer and fitness enthusiast who loves dogs, music, photography, eating, travelling and meeting new friends. In the last 3 years, I have also taken up a teaching post every weekend in a university where I make all sorts of Finance subjects more interesting and bearable for Finance majors.

I have been going out of the country since 2012 as my way of getting rid of stress from my body and mind, and also as a way of enriching my knowledge about my culture and that of others. Most of the times I just backpack. I have already visited 11 countries in Asia and 3 in Europe, and I intend to visit more!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am alone in most of my travels.
Most of the time I end up getting lost, and to me that's a good thing.
And that's only half the fun.
The other half involves connecting with new people and making real friendships.
I believe couchsurfing is a perfect way to accomplish that objective.
I do not want to be far away from home.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I guess one amazing thing I've done is live again.
This is my second life.
In the summer of 2016, I drowned.
I was at the bottom of the pool unconscious for 5 minutes before my friends found me.
CPR was applied at me.
I was rushed at the Emergency Room of a hospital which was 30 minutes away from the resort.
The doctor told everyone that a few more seconds at the bottom of the pool and I was gone.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I speak English well which means I can teach hosts who wish to learn the language. I can also entice hosts to visit the Philippines by sharing tips and recommending sites or localities to explore.

I also LOVE photography. If my host wants to model for a day, I can give a photoshoot for FREE! :)
