About Me

Hi! My name is Paulo. I am 32 years old and I live in Reggio Emilia, Italy. I am Brazilian, married 3 years and we do not have any children. I'm catholic. I do not have any type of addiction (cigarette, alcohol, drugs, etc). We have 2 mini-rabbits (Tarsila and Bilbo).
I've been a psychologist for 9 years, postgraduate in clinical care, Behavior Analysis approach. I work in a hospital, in the area of Preventive Medicine, with obese, hypertensive, diabetic and elderly patients.
I am also a teacher of acrobatic circus activities, postgraduate in Acrobatic Activities of Circus and Gymnastics. I teach at a college and also at a circus gym.
I also enjoy arts, history, cinema and music.

"Men say they love freedom, but, in possession of it, they are overcome by great fear and flee to safe coats. Freedom gives fear. Men are birds that love flight, but they are afraid of the abysses. That's why they abandon their flight and lock themselves in cages.
We are like this: we dream the flight but we fear the height. To fly you have to have the courage to face the terror of emptiness. Because it is only in the void that the flight happens. Emptiness is the space of freedom, the absence of certainties. But this is what we fear: not having certainties. That's why we traded the flight for cages. Cages are the place where certainties live.
It is a mistake to think that men would be free if they could, that they are not free because a stranger caged them, that they would fly if the doors were open. The truth is the opposite. There are no jailers. Men prefer cages to flights. It is they who construct the cages in which they imprison themselves ... "
