ABOUT ME

Before everything else, I am a student. My major is Business Economics at CSU Long Beach(2010). My professional life is very important to me, and the extent to which I show that is what some people say makes me unique. I teach chess to elementary school kids part time and I am a Certified Pilates Instructor (STOTT). Apart from my work and school, I enjoy staying active. I play many sports and other physical activities including: Tennis, Volleyball(beach/indoor), Paddle Tennis, Ping Pong, and swimming. I'm also a beginning kite-surfer and I'm doing my best to find time to get better at it.

PHILOSOPHY

I believe we are in control of our potentials. We are not limited by our predispositions, and thinking outside the box is the only way to expand success (not only in money, but in life). Being successful isn't about wealth, but a state of being that you are proud of achieving. I see potential in others and hope to inspire them to see it within themselves.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Once I return from my 3 month travel in Israel and Europe, I'll do my best to host as much as I can to return the favors that others were kind enough to give me!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've only couchsurfed twice, and both times not through the CS.com. In Israel I met a group of soldiers and they showed me around town and let me stay at their homes. They weren't part of the CS community so I told them about it and they are now!

I hope my future experiences through this website are positive!

Interests

Movies: I love existential movies. My favorites range from Fight Club and the Matrix to movies like One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest and The Truman Show.
I'm an closet Starwars fan (since I was 10) and a die-hard Seinfeld lover.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

People always think about their place in the universe, but few consider the idea that the universe is infinite in time, both forwards and backwards. Does that not mean that every point in time is infinitely small and therefore somewhat meaningless? So, we don’t really have a place in the universe on a timeline... but neither does anything else. Therefore, every moment is really the most amazing and important moment that has ever happened.

So, the most amazing moment in my lifetime is the one that's about to occur. :)
