ABOUT ME

After 7 years of corporate work slowly killing our souls, enough is enough! Since January 2014 we have packed it all up and are spending our time far more wisely...backpacking across South-East Asia.

A chilled, open-minded, young, happily unmarried couple, we are lovers of the outdoors, good company and new adventures and experiences. While happiest under the sea scuba diving or hiking across mountains, we are also fans of the more relaxing pleasures in life, like a book under the duvet or soaking up the sun on the beach.

Interests

Anything outdoors involving beach, sea, forest and mountain. Favourites at the moment are diving in our local scuba mecca of Durban and trail running in the surrounding greenery.

We are passionate vegetarians, always excited about trying new dishes and cooking styles.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Most recently the top of the list is diving with Ragged-tooth Sharks a few weeks ago at one of our spots, Aliwal Shoal. It was just profoundly humbling and special being centimetres away from these gentle beasts in their natural environment!
