About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Live healthy, work, play, garden, look up at stars, be kind, stop wanting and listen to what the universe says.
ABOUT ME
Grew up in western suburbs of Brisbane, completed an Engineering degree but didn't pursue it, kicked around in the alternative/hippy scene for a while, traveled here and there, by hitch, by bike, by walk and planes, settled back in Brisbane worked in housing and construction for some years, became a builder, then built a place of my own. In 2011 I packed everything up, rented the house out and spent four years aimlessly wandering the planet. Now I have settled back home and into the swing of working, paying bills, etc and generally try to make the most of a fortunate life.
I live a quiet social life, don't drink, rarely party and prefer not to be around noisy venues. Never married, no kids. I try to keep a daily routine of meditation. If there is an excuse to do so, I like to make a fire, cook a meal and make conversation.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
It's a nice way to travel the world without leaving home, to learn about other people's cultures and ideas. I also genuinely enjoy helping others as well as showing people the area in which I live which is quite nice.
Interests
I'm interested in what makes the world go round, in nature , in the beauty and absurdity of human behavior, in art and magic.

Teach, Learn, Share
We learn about ourselves by being together, being alone, traveling far and being at home. In every moment there is an opportunity for learning.
