HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I believe hosting, entertaining (and feeding) a genuine traveller - irrespective of age, gender or sexual orientation is a very special and precious thing - therefore I very much enjoy being part of the CS community.

Please note it is in the spirit of CS to spend at least some time with your CS hosts/ guests. Provision of a free bed without any interaction is unlikely, however I do appreciate circumstances differ from person to person.

Also, I will be reluctant to accept any requests not submitted via the specifically designed CS Requests tool.

Finally, generic, or 'copy and paste' requests, addressed to no one in particular, normally have a zero chance of success. So will any group requests where at least one of the parties does not have either a profile or a photo - I prefer to see in advance who I will be hosting and spending time with.
