Travelling has been a part of my life and I love to meet new people. I like to stay fit and healthy and my interests revolve around this, music and people. I'm interested in most things and I enjoy a good conversation and a long belly laugh.
Places I've visited or lived include
The US, England, Scotland, Wales, Spain, Portugal, France, Italy, Czech rep, Ukraine, Austria, Germany, Norway, South Africa, Indonesia, Malaysia, Mexico the Cocas Islands and Egypt.
I speak only English but know how to say "I don't understand, do you speak English" in many languages.
I have beginner German after 6 weeks of a course in Heidelberg and would welcome any practice.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have recently returned after travelling for 7 months in Europe and the US. Over the last few years I have been hosting people in Geraldton. I was living in a nice house very close to the beach. Now I live in Perth near a national park. I have a pool for those hot summer days as well as going to the beach often and am happy to show people around. I might even contemplate a road trip in my self contained bus.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have had a number of people stay with me and all have been a great experience. I have also stayed on a few couches and I have made some really nice friends. Most of all I like meeting new and interesting people.

My two favourite movies are Life is Beautiful and the Intouchables.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One amazing adventure I had was when I cycled from London to Spain. Heaps of fun and I got quite fit.
Bungy jumping in South Africa and scuba diving on the barrier reef.
The grand canyon in the US is like a picture.
Now add the coastline of Crimea to amazing scenery.

I have a Masters in Business and a BSc in Computer Science and Business Law
I used to be a serious tennis player but only play for fun these days.
I love to learn from others and enjoy nothing more than seeing and doing new things
